The Graphite AirPort Foundation Station is functionally similar to the Lucent RG-a thousand wireless base station and will operate the exact same firmware. On account of the first firmware-locked limits of the Silver card, the device can only accept 40-little bit WEP encryption. Later on aftermarket tweaks can allow 128-bit WEP to the Silver card.
